The Clever Fox and the Foolish Crow
One bright morning, a crow found a big piece of cheese. Feeling very proud of her catch, she flew up to a tree branch to enjoy it. Just as she was about to take a bite, a clever fox came walking by. He sniffed the air and spotted the cheese in the crow’s beak.
The fox’s mouth watered. He wanted that cheese, but how could he get it? That’s when he had an idea.
“Oh, dear crow!” said the fox in his sweetest voice. “You look so lovely today! I’ve heard your voice is even more beautiful. Could you sing a song for me?”
The crow felt flattered. No one had ever praised her voice before! She puffed up proudly, opened her beak wide to sing… and down dropped the cheese!
The fox quickly grabbed it and laughed, “Thank you for the cheese, my dear crow! Maybe next time, think before you sing.”
The crow sat on the branch, sad and embarrassed, having learned a lesson the hard way.

The Honest Elephant
once upon a time, in a peaceful forest, there lived a kind and honest elephant named Ella. She was loved by all the animals for her gentle nature and helpful attitude.
One sunny morning, the forest king—a mighty lion—decided to choose a new leader to help him take care of the jungle. He called all the animals and said, “I need someone who is honest, kind, and brave to be my helper.”
The next day, the lion hid a basket of fresh bananas near the river and waited in the bushes to see who would take them. One by one, animals passed by. The monkey saw the bananas and quickly grabbed a few. He looked around, saw no one watching, and ran off. Then came the parrot, who took one and flew away.
Finally, Ella the elephant arrived. She saw the bananas and thought, “These don’t belong to me. I should tell the lion.” So, she walked straight to the lion’s cave and said, “Your Majesty, I found a basket of bananas near the river. I think someone may have lost them.”
The lion smiled proudly. “Thank you, Ella,” he said. “That was a test, and you passed it. Your honesty is what makes you special. From now on, you shall be the forest’s protector.”

The Lion and the Little Mouse
Once upon a time, in a deep green forest, a mighty lion was sleeping peacefully under a shady tree. His loud snores echoed through the jungle. Nearby, a tiny little mouse was playing, running here and there. By mistake, the mouse ran right over the lion’s paw.
The lion woke up with a roar and caught the mouse in his big claws.
“How dare you wake me up!” he growled.

The lion laughed loudly. “You? A tiny mouse helping me? That’s funny. But fine, I’ll let you go,” he said, and released the mouse.
A few days later, the lion was walking in the forest when he got caught in a hunter’s net. He roared and struggled, but the more he moved, the tighter the net became.
Hearing the roar, the little mouse ran to help. Without wasting a second, it began to nibble on the ropes with its tiny teeth. Slowly, the ropes broke, and the lion was free!
The lion looked at the mouse with a smile. “Thank you, little friend. I see now that even the smallest creature can be a great help.”
The Ant and the Dove
One hot summer day, a little ant was walking near a river in search of water. After walking for a long time, she finally saw a river and climbed onto a small rock to take a sip. But just as she bent down to drink, she slipped and fell into the water.
The poor ant struggled to stay afloat. “Help! Someone, please help me!” she cried. A dove sitting on a nearby tree saw the ant struggling in the water. She quickly plucked a leaf from the tree and dropped it into the river, right next to the ant.
The ant climbed onto the leaf and floated safely to the riverbank. She looked up and shouted, “Thank you, kind dove! You saved my life.”
A few days later, the dove was resting on the same tree when a hunter approached quietly, aiming his bow at her. The ant, who happened to be nearby, saw what was about to happen. She rushed forward and bit the hunter’s foot. “Ouch!” cried the hunter, missing his shot. The dove flew away safely.
The dove and the ant looked at each other from afar, their hearts full of gratitude.

The Greedy Dog
Once upon a time, there was a hungry dog who found a big juicy bone. Delighted, he grabbed it in his mouth and started walking home. On the way, he had to cross a small bridge over a river.
As he walked over the bridge, he looked down and saw his own reflection in the water. But the silly dog thought it was another dog with a bigger bone.
Greedy and excited, he barked loudly to scare the “other dog” and grab his bone too. But as he opened his mouth to bark, his own bone fell into the river with a splash.
Now the poor dog had nothing. No bone, and no second one either.
He sadly walked away, learning a hard lesson.
